Mechnikov's skin care line is inspired by the father of Lactobacillus therapy Mechnikov, who is known for developing a theory that aging is caused by toxic bacteria in the gut and that lactic acid could prolong life. He wrote The Prolongation of Life: Optimistic Studies, in which he espoused the potential life-lengthening properties of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus).

What probiotics are? Probiotics include various strains of uniquely helpful bacteria that occur naturally on skin and that can be applied via probiotic skincare products. Probiotics work with prebiotics, carbohydrates that serve as a food source so the probiotics can optimally do their job of protecting and nurturing your skin. Probiotics are known for their ability to balance and calm your digestive system, but when applied topically they’re also proven to work their magic on your skin – and the best thing is, they work for any and every skin type and concern.

A hydrating toner helps to enhance moisture level in the dry skin by using moisture liposomes contained in hyaluronic acid. Keeps skin elastic and sooths it without leaving a sticky feeling on the surface of the skin. Toner helps to brighten and even out skin tone, has anti-aging properties. 

A moisturizing cream helps brighten up complexion with highly concentrated oxygenated water. It's purpose is to restore natural skin tone and maintain youthful skin. Bacillus fermented formula takes care of keratin layer of the skin to maintain it moisturized and smooth.

Blended with Quattro Biome™ (includes 4 kinds of pure probiotics such as Bifida Ferment Filtrate, Lactococcus Lactis Ferment, Lactobacillus Ferment, Streptococcus Thermophilus Ferment) and with pH 5.5 value, the toner improves skin’s condition and helps to defend against environmental stressors and free radicals that trigger loose skin, pigmentation, lines, and wrinkles. By reducing inflammation, probiotics help to take down redness and calm easily-irritated skin. They strengthen the skin’s barrier by acting as a protective layer on the skin’s surface.

Containing hyaluronic acid, this intensely hydrating toner and cream boosts moisture content in your skin and seals it inside, protecting your skin from further loss of hydration while balancing your skin’s water and oil content. Hyaluronic acid can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, also it is able to increase skin's absorption rate of other ingredients.

Directions:

Toner - comes with itself and a small hydrating shot that needs to be added to the toner in the beginning of the first use (one time only). Open toner's cap (with pumping part) and pour all the content of hydrating shot into the toner. Shake in up and down motion to mix in after closing the toner container. Dispense an appropriate amount and spread it gently around the face and neck area. Massage softly for better absorption.

Cream - apply an appropriate amount onto the skin with soft, massaging movements. Gently pat the face for better absorption. Highly concentrated oxygenated water in the product may produce bubbles and it's safe to use.
